Why: This place is just downstream of the Great Falls of the
Potomac, 12 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. This rocky area forms a
different type of flora from the surrounding area. There are also many
types of aquatic animals as well, and the views are beautiful. This is
where I can climb, hike, read a book, or just relax on the rocks.
