A Child's Playground in Kentucky
Who: Tim Where: A Child's Playground in Kentucky
Why: My favorite childhood "wilderness" area while growing up in
western Kentucky was a swampy, wooded area with a creek flowing through
it. I played for hours climbing trees, catching crawfish and minnows, and
making dams in the small creek. This place was an important part of my
growing up experience. I still remember making trails and playing hide and
seek with neighborhood kids in those woods and swampy area.
