Fogland Marsh Preserve

Who: Jon
Where: Fogland Marsh Preserve

Why: Wandering aimlessly around the eastern edge of Rhode Island -- between the Emilie Ruecker Wildlife Refuge in Tiverton and The Fogland Marsh Preserve in Little Compton -- is like stepping into a time warp. Despite the roads and satellite TV dishes tacked onto the barns, you can still allow yourself to believe -- at least for a moment -- that you're centuries away from the tensions of our time.
